Gutters are the cheapest part of a roof system and the one that fails most often, usually from a bad install. We pulled every gutter company Google lists in Bloomfield Township, MI, checked which ones actually have an address in town, read their reviews, and went through their websites to build this list.
How we chose this list: Gutter companies are sorted by Google rating weighted by review count. Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a gutter company based in Bloomfield Township?
None of the gutter companies on this list are based in Bloomfield Township. The closest are M & T Seamless Gutters in Waterford Township, about 10.6 miles away, and The Brothers That Just Do Gutters in Farmington Hills, about 11.6 miles away. Ackerman Gutters lists service across Macomb and Oakland County. All of them serve Bloomfield Township. Before hiring, ask who holds the license, since gutter work over $600 falls under Michigan residential builder or maintenance and alteration licensing.
Should gutters be replaced with the roof?
If your roof is due for replacement, plan the gutters around it. Gutters go on after the roof, never before. Roofers work along the eaves and roof edge, and new gutters installed first can get damaged or have to come down. When both are near the end of their life, replace the roof first, then have the gutters installed. If the gutters are still in good shape, ask your roofer whether they can stay in place.
Are gutter guards worth it in Michigan?
For many homes they are. Gutter guards keep leaves, sticks and seeds out of the gutter, which cuts down on cleaning and clogs. They help most on houses near tall trees. They do not remove all maintenance, so plan to check them now and then. Several companies on this list install guards, including Ackerman Gutters, The Brothers That Just Do Gutters, Discount Seamless Gutters and Straight Shot Gutters. Ask each one which style suits your roof and trees.
Does Roofing Army install gutters?
No. Roofing Army does roofing only and does not install gutters. When our customers need gutters, we send them to Ackerman Gutters, which is run by the brother of Roofing Army's owner. Gutters should go on after the roof, so if you are planning both, start with the roof. Roofing Army inspects roofs for free in Bloomfield Township, which can help you decide on timing.
