Who can be nominated for the Veterans Pledge?

Any military veteran or active duty service member who owns their home and is experiencing hardship or unsafe roofing conditions may be nominated.

Can a veteran nominate themselves?

Yes. Veterans may nominate themselves, or nominations may be submitted by family members, friends, neighbors, or community organizations.

How often is a roof awarded through the Veterans Pledge?

Roofing Army selects one veteran or veteran family each year to receive a full roof replacement at no cost.

How is the recipient selected?

Submissions are reviewed based on need, roof condition, and eligibility. Service verification and an inspection may be required before final selection.

Is there any cost to the selected veteran?

No. The selected recipient receives a complete roof replacement, including materials and labor, at no cost.

Will everyone who submits a nomination be contacted?

Due to the number of submissions, we may not be able to respond to every nomination individually, but each submission is reviewed with care and respect.

Who Can Be Nominated

Nominations may be submitted by the veteran themselves, a family member, friend, neighbor, or community organization.
