Gutters are the cheapest part of a roof system and the one that fails most often, usually from a bad install. We pulled every gutter company Google lists in Bloomfield Hills, MI, checked which ones actually have an address in town, read their reviews, and went through their websites to build this list.
How we chose this list: Gutter companies are sorted by Google rating weighted by review count. Companies based in Bloomfield Hills come first, and where the city has fewer than five we added the nearest well-reviewed companies and say where they are based. Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a gutter company based in Bloomfield Hills?
None of the companies listed here are based in Bloomfield Hills. The closest is Empire Gutter Guards in Auburn Hills, about 6.8 miles away. M & T Seamless Gutters is in Waterford Township, about 10.6 miles away, and The Brothers That Just Do Gutters is in Farmington Hills, about 11.6 miles away. Ackerman Gutters serves Macomb and Oakland County, which includes Bloomfield Hills.
Should gutters be replaced with the roof?
If you are planning a new roof, schedule the gutters for after it. Gutters go on after the roof, never before, so the roofers can finish the edge work without damaging new gutters. Plan both projects together, then have the gutter company install once the roof is done. Gutter installation over $600 falls under Michigan's residential builder and maintenance and alteration licensing, so ask who holds the license.
Are gutter guards worth it in Michigan?
It depends on how many trees are near your house and how often you want to clean gutters. Guards are meant to keep leaves out so you clean less often. Several companies on this list offer them, including Empire Gutter Guards, The Brothers That Just Do Gutters and Ackerman Gutters, which has a blog post on whether gutter guard is worth it. Ask each company to look at your gutters and explain what their guard does.
Does Roofing Army install gutters?
No. Roofing Army does roofing only. When our customers need gutters, we send them to Ackerman Gutters, which is run by the brother of Roofing Army's owner. Gutters should go on after the roof, so the two jobs fit together well. If you are not sure whether your roof needs work before new gutters, Roofing Army inspects roofs for free in Bloomfield Hills.
