Gutters are the cheapest part of a roof system and the one that fails most often, usually from a bad install. We pulled every gutter company Google lists in Washington Township, MI, checked which ones actually have an address in town, read their reviews, and went through their websites to build this list.
How we chose this list: Gutter companies are sorted by Google rating weighted by review count. Companies based in Washington Township come first, and where the city has fewer than five we added the nearest well-reviewed companies and say where they are based. Ackerman Seamless Gutters is ranked first because it is where we send our own customers; see the disclosure below. This list is updated for 2026.

Yes. Discount Seamless Gutters is based in Washington Township. It installs seamless gutters and handles gutter guards, downspouts and drainage, cleaning, repair and fascia work, and its website says it is licensed and insured. The other companies on this list serve the township from nearby: Empire Gutter Guards from Auburn Hills, Prestige Gutter Systems from Roseville and Reliable Gutter Cleaning LLC from Oxford. Should gutters be replaced with the roof?
If your roof is due for replacement, plan the two jobs together. Gutters go on after the roof, never before, so finish the roofing first and then have new gutters installed. Gutter installation on a home falls under Michigan's residential builder and maintenance and alteration licensing for work over $600, so ask who holds the license.
Are gutter guards worth it in Michigan?
It depends on how much debris lands in your gutters and how often you want to clean them. Several companies on this list install guards: Empire Gutter Guards focuses on them, and Ackerman Gutters, Discount Seamless Gutters and Prestige Gutter Systems offer them too. Ackerman's website has an article on whether gutter guards are worth it. If you would rather keep cleaning, Reliable Gutter Cleaning LLC focuses on gutter maintenance.
Does Roofing Army install gutters?
No. Roofing Army does roofing only. We send our own customers to Ackerman Gutters, which is run by the brother of Roofing Army's owner. Gutters go on after the roof, never before, so the usual order is roof first, then gutters.
