Best Window Replacement Companies in Hazel Park, MI (2026)

Windows Diverse Services Inc is in Detroit, next to Hazel Park, and serves Hazel Park. Reviewers describe the company working on older houses, including homes built in 1911 and 1929, with a mix of original windows, screens and storm windows. One reviewer had old wood windows restored to like new condition instead of replaced, and notes that wood windows were designed to be repaired. Another describes careful cleaning, inside and out, of every window that was not painted shut, plus advice on getting decorative leaded glass repaired. A reviewer calls it a family owned, local business. If your home still has original wood windows, restoration is a service reviewers describe here.

Vehicle glass, not house windows, is the work at Simbol Auto Glass Shop, which is in Hazel Park. Its focus is windshields: chip and crack repair, full replacement, and shattered side windows. Besides the Hazel Park shop, the company has locations in Waterford, Shelby Township and Wyandotte. Reviewers mention quick, professional repairs and say the team is upfront about what to expect. One reviewer has used them for windshields on a business fleet and then on a personal vehicle. Another came in after a rock on the freeway hit the windshield. For home window replacement, the other companies on this list are a better fit, but for a cracked windshield this shop is right in town.

Located in Madison Heights, next to Hazel Park, John R Glass serves Hazel Park. The shop's website lists commercial glass, custom residential glass and residential shower installations. Reviewers mostly describe glass work inside the home, such as shower enclosures, mirrors and other custom pieces. One reviewer had the company supply all the mirrors, shower enclosures and custom glass for a new custom home. Another brought in an old mirror to be cut down and mentions friendly, very fast service. One reviewer describes the prices as fair, and another says the shop was cheaper than competitors. A finished shower installation is described by one reviewer as beautiful.

Right here in Hazel Park, H&R Window Repair Co handles both window repair and window replacement. The website lists casement, double hung, single hung, picture and awning windows, with vinyl and fiberglass options. The company also works on historic wood and historic steel windows, a useful skill in older houses where original frames may be worth keeping. One reviewer with a 100 year old home mentions the company restoring and maintaining the original windows. Because the company does both repair and replacement, it can be a good place to ask whether a window can be saved before you pay to replace it.

Based in Royal Oak, M&B Screen & Window Repair serves Hazel Park from there, about 3.1 miles away. The company focuses on repair: torn screens, stuck windows, doors, enclosures and wood restoration. Reviewers say no job is too small, and several describe screens replaced for windows and balconies with attention to detail. One reviewer mentions the team tracking down parts for a window that was nearly impossible to find, then putting it back together like new instead of buying a replacement. Another says the problem with a sliding glass door was explained clearly before the fix. If your windows are sticking or your screens are torn, repair here may be worth a call before replacement.
