Gutters are the cheapest part of a roof system and the one that fails most often, usually from a bad install. We pulled every gutter company Google lists in Troy, MI, checked which ones actually have an address in town, read their reviews, and went through their websites to build this list.
How we chose this list: Gutter companies are sorted by Google rating weighted by review count. Companies based in Troy come first, and where the city has fewer than five we added the nearest well-reviewed companies and say where they are based. Ackerman Seamless Gutters is ranked first because it is where we send our own customers; see the disclosure below. This list is updated for 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a gutter company based in Troy?
Yes. G&S Property Services is based in Troy. It focuses on gutter cleaning along with window washing, pressure cleaning and roof washing, rather than gutter installation. For installation, the other listed companies serve Troy from nearby: Discount Seamless Gutters from Washington, Prestige Gutter Systems from Roseville and M & T Seamless Gutters from Waterford Township. Ackerman Gutters works across Macomb and Oakland County.
Should gutters be replaced with the roof?
If both are near the end of their life, plan them together, but install the gutters after the roof, never before. Roofing work along the eaves can damage new gutters, so have your roofer and gutter company coordinate timing. Gutter installation on a home falls under Michigan's residential builder and maintenance and alteration licensing for work over $600. Ask who holds the license before you sign.
Are gutter guards worth it in Michigan?
They can be, depending on your property. Homes with many trees nearby tend to get the most from gutter guards, since leaves and seeds clog open gutters in fall and spring. Guards cut down on cleaning but do not end it, so ask about upkeep. Ackerman Gutters lists leaf guard, Discount Seamless Gutters installs gutter guards and covers, and Prestige Gutter Systems offers gutter guards for homes and commercial buildings.
Does Roofing Army install gutters?
No. Roofing Army does roofing only. When customers need gutters, Roofing Army sends them to Ackerman Gutters, which is run by the brother of Roofing Army's owner. Ackerman handles seamless gutters, leaf guard, repair and cleaning. If you are planning new gutters on an older roof, Roofing Army inspects roofs for free in Troy, so you can check the roof first and put the gutters on after.
