Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a gutter company based in Lake Orion?
None of the companies on this list are based in Lake Orion itself. The closest is Discount Seamless Gutters in the Village of Clarkston, about 4.4 miles away, followed by Reliable Gutter Cleaning LLC in Oxford, about 6 miles away. M & T Seamless Gutters works from Waterford Township and The Gutter Guys and Gals of Michigan LLC from Springfield Township. Each of them serves Lake Orion.
Should gutters be replaced with the roof?
If your roof is due for replacement soon, plan the gutters around it. Gutters go on after the roof, never before. That way the new gutters are not disturbed during the roof job. If the roof is in good shape and only the gutters are failing, they can be replaced on their own. Before ordering new gutters, it helps to find out whether the roof will need work in the near future.
Are gutter guards worth it in Michigan?
It depends mostly on how many trees are near your house. One reviewer of The Gutter Guys and Gals of Michigan LLC who lives in the woods said gutter guards were well worth the extra cost. Ackerman Gutters and Discount Seamless Gutters both list gutter guards or leaf protection among their services, and Ackerman has a blog post on the question. Ask for a quote with and without guards and compare it to the cost of regular cleaning.
Does Roofing Army install gutters?
No. Roofing Army does roofing only and does not install gutters. We send our own customers to Ackerman Gutters, which is run by the brother of Roofing Army's owner. If you are planning both a roof and new gutters, Roofing Army inspects roofs for free in Lake Orion, and the gutters can go on once the roof is finished.
